
Since our establishment in June 2014, we have being hard at work helping the community in various ways. This is a brief of things we have done so far:

We have had an awareness of the organization event in tongaat to inform the community about our organization and our plans. Held in June 2014.it was attended by the late Zama of the ANC youth league as a representative of the regional offices.

We joined together with a councilor to host a women day event in the community.

We went into an informal settlement (umbia) to help when they houses was on fire. We had helped by going into the informal settlement and carry buckets of water to help put off the fire which had destroyed 20 homes.

We had the official launch of the organization on in September 2014, was to introduce the organization board to the community. Was attended also by members in the department of transport. Rev Themba Vundla.

We had held an AIDS, Drugs and suicide event on the 29 of November 2014. This event was held on this day since world AIDS day was been marked on the 1st of December, we also included drug awareness and suicide since matric results and the holidays was just around the corner.

We had assisted at umbia to put off the fire that destroyed more than 15 homes and we also helped to arrange clothing for victims affected by the disaster.

We had got both the media and councilors involved around the issue of the dirt was been damped in umbia and as not been picked up by the council for months, resulting in illnesses and other health problems sweeping the community.

We handed out bank tins and calendars at the Golden Steps School sports day to the children

We handed sponsored bank tins from African Bank to life little Explores club from Plain street in Tongaat to the children in the organization.

We had a youth day event on the 16th of June 2015. We held this event at Golden Steps School (a school for disable children). This school was in desperate need of renovation so we had our event as a day to do up the school, which we did the painting, ramps for children on wheelchairs to go on as well as we did the cleanup of the school and much more.

On the 8th of August 2015 we went back to the Golden Steps School to complete renovations. And also handed out gifts to the women who had supported the organization to do up the school. And we handed out food to children from an informal settlement in Cotton lands.

We sponsored some paint to a church in cotton lands to use in the hostel at the church which houses 90 families.

We helped to get documents etc done to start up a children organization called life little explores club

We had worked with the Tongaat trauma center to get a place to stay for homeless individual
-
We held an awareness event using sports to educate community about AIDS, Drug abuse, Women and Child abuse and suicide. Which was held on the 12 December 2015

We had sponsored Buffesdale Primary School with metal primer to be used to do up the school.

We had sponsored an autographed cricket bat signed by the Dolphins Cricket team to a family to raise funds for the 5years old child’s treatment.

Sponsored clothes and curtains to poor families in pension cottage in Tongaat area.

Sponsored Buffelsdale Primary School paint June 15th 2016

Sponsored an interfaith event conducted by Tongaat community safety medals on June 16th 2016

Volunteered with Tongaat Hindu forum helping them for they youth day event June 16 2016

Had a food hamper drive and distributed hampers to underprivileged children from different schools in area on the 26 june 2016

Sponsored the tongaat trauma centre with paintbrushs and scrappers to be used to do up a school in an underprivileged area for mandela day 18 july 2016

On the 10th august 2016 worked to get lights back in the belvedere area after the whole area had a cable fault which caused no lights in area.

On the 11th august 2016 our members worked on getting clean water back into area that was effected by dirty water coming out of the taps in different area in tongaat

23rd august 2016 handed out clothes to poor family in the Tongaat area.

29th august 2016 handed out food, blankets and medical equipment to victims whose houses got burnt in Umbhiya fire disaster

29th august 2016 assisted food for life and Tongaat SAPS Trauma centre to hand out food and clothes to victims whose houses got burnt in Umbhiya

4th september 2016 handed out clothes to residents of Umbhiya

17th september 2016 handed out meat parcels to over 100 poor families in the Durban area for Eid.

18th september 2016 feeding project in area we had feeding over 200 poor people in the Tongaat area
-
1st october 2016 helped to cook and feed over 18000 poor people in Durban area with Food for life
-
4th october 2016 helped at a human resource program to teach basic first aid.
